Heather E. Aldridge, President and Chief Executive Officer Ms. Aldridge serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Vitalis Medical Billing Solutions, Inc (VMBS).
Ms. Aldridge has a strong background in outpatient rehabilitation (physical, occupational and speech therapy) professional and facility and mental health billing as well as experience in various other specialties.
Some of the education she has acquired includes the American Medical Billing Association’s Medical Billing and Training Seminar, the Michigan Chiropractic Society's Reimbursement Seminar, Wisconsin Physicians Service's Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Data Base Conference and Medicare Beyond the Basics, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Provider Education and Training Programs in ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Coding, Medicare, Medicare as a Secondary Payer, Medicare Fraud and Abuse, Front Office Management, and Women’s Health Benefits, the Medical Services Administration's courses on Medicaid Managed Care and Using the HCFA-1500 Form. She is dedicated to continuing education in the constantly changing health insurance and medical practice management industry.
Ms. Aldridge’s professional society affiliations and registered memberships include the American Medical Billing Association, the Coding and Reimbursement Network, and the Practice Managers Resource and Networking Community.
Ms. Aldridge completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in 1997, and was designated a Michigan Scholar in recognition of multi-disciplinary academic excellence.

William E. Aldridge, CPA, Vice President Mr. Aldridge serves as Vice President of VMBS. As a member of our management team, he brings over thirty years of diversified health care, business, finance, and technology experience to VMBS. His experiences include leadership roles in establishing the first HMO in Michigan, consolidation of five area hospitals, establishment of a startup DME company, business consulting to medical practices (sole practitioners and clinics) and consulting to medical billing firms.
Mr. Aldridge is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has over thirty years of professional experience in public accounting, healthcare management, and consulting and executive management. He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1970. While at Arthur Anderson & Co., he provided auditing, tax, and consulting services to the Firm’s health care, regulated industries, banking, educational, and non-profit clients. In 1975, after leaving Arthur Anderson & Co., he formed his own Certified Public Accounting firm, Barrow, Aldridge & Co. The Firm provided auditing, tax, consulting and accounting services. Mr. Aldridge remained at Barrow, Aldridge & Co. for thirteen years before being called into public service by both the Detroit Public Schools and the Cleveland Public Schools. Mr. Aldridge served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for both of these public institutions. He recently returned from public service to resume his private sector career.
Mr. Aldridge’s professional society affiliations include, among others, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives Institute, Association of Risk Management, and the American Society of Training and Development. He has served on many Boards of businesses, non-profit, governmental, and community organizations. In recognition of his commitment to professionalism and community service, he has received such awards as the Spirit of Detroit, University of Michigan Service Recognition, Wayne State University Outstanding Businessman, and the Detroit Public Schools- Design for Excellence.
Mr. Aldridge attended Florida State University and the University of Maryland while serving in the U.S. Air Force. After returning to his home state, Michigan, he completed his undergraduate work in Business Administration (Accounting and Economics) at Central Michigan University. In 1985, he earned the Master of Science in Taxation from in 1989 he received the degree of Applied Science in Computer Technology.
